He sent out Buddhist missionaries to Kashmir, Sri Lanka and Persia and built, according to tradition, 84.000 Buddhist stupas across India.

Sarnath reached its maximum splendor in the fourth century, V and VI,Gupta period. The reasons for low coverage are analyzed even today, and appear to be related to this philosophy was contrary and tried to abolish the caste system on the one hand, and the fact of being a pacifist religion, unfit for support a such warrior nation like India.

[uncode_socials size=”lead”]

[vc_separator]

While Varanasi is the ultimate pilgrimage place for Hindus, only 10 kms from the city we find another place of […]

[4894,5044
5370,5371,5372,5373,5374,5375,5376,5377,5378,5379,4980,5086,5087,5135,5199,5369
post-87740","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-asia-en","category-india-en","tag-sarnath-en","tag-dharma-en","tag-sangha-en","tag-dhamekh-en","tag-gupta-en","tag-mulaganda-en","tag-kushana-en","tag-dodh-gay-en","tag-kushinagar-en","tag-kuti-vihara-en","tag-lumbini-en","tag-buddhism","tag-buddha-en","tag-ashoka-en","tag-india","tag-varanasi-en
<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
